Marek Jeżewski appointed Polish ambassador at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre

Marek Jeżewski has joined the select group of arbitration experts affiliated with the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) and will be the Polish ambassador of this prestigious institution. His appointment, which was preceded by a thorough vetting process, is a recognition of Marek’s experience and knowledge, but also an acknowledgement of his work in international arbitration.

The idea behind the VIAC Community Ambassador Network (VIAC CAN) is to build a network of multi-jurisdictional expert practitioners, and promote arbitration as a method for the amicable resolution of commercial and investment disputes.

The Vienna-based organisation is one of the most renowned arbitral institutions in Europe and a focal point for the settlement of the most high-profile international commercial disputes from various parts of Europe, the Americas and Asia. Since its inception, VIAC has administered over 1,700 proceedings and is thereby one of Europe’s most experienced arbitration centres.

Marek said he felt honoured to be able to represent VIAC in Poland and build its position as a leading global arbitration institution. We know that he is truly looking forward to this collaboration. And we also know that Marek, with his expertise and commitment, will be a valuable asset to this noble initiative of international ambassadors of arbitration as a method of amicable dispute resolution. So we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed for their successful collaboration.
