Katarzyna has over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. As a practising pharmacist with a degree in law, she has an expert knowledge and understanding of the specifics of the industry and its regulatory environment. For many years, she has skilfully combined her knowledge of healthcare sector legislation with practical knowledge of how the pharmaceutical market works. This ensures that she is able to understand her clients’ projects from inside out, including from a business point of view.

She specialises in matters relating to the marketing authorisation of medicinal products, medical devices, biocides and other products of importance to the pharmaceutical market, such as food supplements.

She develops documentation required to place products on the market, both in accordance with the standard registration procedure and in exceptional circumstances, such as epidemics.

Katarzyna helps to ensure the market stability of products and the implementation of business strategies, including reimbursement policies, ensuring that reimbursement and registration processes are carried out correctly.

She has represented the pharmaceutical industry on numerous occasions in parliamentary work on amendments to the Pharmaceutical Law and was a member of the Pharmaceutical Law Amendment Team appointed by the Minister of Health.

She is also a lecturer at the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in postgraduate studies in Industrial Pharmacy and has been a market consultant in the regulatory field for many years.

Education: A graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Medical University of Warsaw. Katarzyna has completed law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration) at the University of Warsaw, also holding a Master 1 degree in French and Polish business law (Master franco-polonais Droit français et européen des affaires) from the University of Warsaw & Université de Poitiers (France)

She completed the Polish-French MBA Studies (Formation Franco-Polonaise de Gestion) at the University of Łódź & Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France) and the European Regulatory Affairs Course organised under the auspices of the European Medicines Agency (EMA)
