Maciej Kuranc

Maciej specialises in financial markets law and new technologies. He advises on the regulatory environment of cloud computing and the implementation of IT projects.

He has worked on the implementation of cloud services in the largest banks and insurance companies in Poland, developing internal documentation and notifications and participating in contract negotiations with cloud providers.

He has participated in the work on Polish Cloud 2.0 – the standard for the implementation of a public or hybrid cloud computing service for the Polish Bank Association, and on the model for the implementation of Cloud Computing Service for the Chamber of Fund and Asset Management (IZFIA).

Maciej advises on compliance and cybersecurity issues, and conducts audits of internal documentation for compliance with the DORA Regulation, ISO standards (27001 and 27017), the National Cybersecurity System Act (UKSC) and the recommendations of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).

Maciej is involved in transactional projects where he supports clients in negotiating loan agreements and security documents.

He is also an Information Security Management System Internal Auditor.
